CELVENO guides

Manage quote versions and revisions clearly

Customers change quantities, remove items or ask for alternatives. If every change creates a new file, it quickly becomes unclear which version applies. Revisions address this problem.

What a revision should provide

A revision needs a clear version, a date and ideally a traceable reason for the change. This helps explain how the current offer developed.

Keep earlier versions as you continue

The previous version should remain available. This is especially useful if a customer returns to an earlier alternative or internal questions arise.

Apply customer changes in a structured way

Email changes can be prepared as specific suggestions at item level. The user decides which adjustments actually go into the next revision.

Make revisions visible in the PDF too

Showing the revision in both the workspace and the customer document makes an offer unambiguous. CELVENO maintains revisions throughout the quoting process.

Put it into practice

A quick check before sending.

  • Correct customer, project and current revision?
  • Services, quantities and units complete?
  • Selling prices, options and total reviewed?
  • Validity, dates and terms clear?
  • PDF checked from the customer’s perspective?
